The Right Way to Make a Resolution – Baptiste Institute

Making a confident New Year’s resolution (that won’t go by the wayside in a matter of weeks) can be an intimidating task if you’re not sure where to start or what kind of goals would be the most beneficial for your lifestyle.

The first step in making a confident New Year’s resolution is understanding yourself and your limitations. Are there any areas of your life that could use some improvement? 

Is there anything you know you can do, but just haven’t been able to find the motivation or inspiration to tackle it? 

Ask yourself these questions honestly and be willing to accept the answers. This sets the stage for creating an achievable and meaningful goal for yourself.

Once you have identified what area(s) need improvement, narrow down your options. 

It can be helpful to create a list of several ideas and then prioritize them by importance or difficulty level. 

You may also benefit from talking to other people who have successfully achieved similar goals in order to get an idea of what worked for them and how they stayed motivated throughout the process.

It’s also important to create measurable milestones along the way and a timeline for achieving your goal so you can track your progress more easily. 

This will provide necessary feedback and reinforcement when things are going well and help keep you on track when things get tough or challenging tasks come up along the way.

Finally, don’t forget to reward yourself when milestones or mini-goals are achieved along the way! 

You’ll need motivation and positive reinforcement in order to stay on track with your plan, so take a moment to celebrate each success as it comes up…

Even if it’s just something small like writing down measurements once a week or taking five minutes each day out of your schedule for personal growth activities such as yoga or meditation. 

These little moments can make all the difference in helping you stay focused on your ultimate goal!
