What does it take to be a great leader?
Legendary football coach Vince Lombardi said: “Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work.”
Nobody sets out to be a concert pianist without knowing they face years of practice, training, and challenges. But somehow, people forget that leadership is a skill, just like any other.
Leadership doesn’t accidentally happen. It’s something you have to practice and develop. And like anything else, it takes direction and dedication to get there.
I’ve been thinking a lot about leadership lately… the need we have today for great leaders who are willing to step out, do the hard thing, and help others become the best version of themselves.

So I gathered some Baptiste Yoga leaders I’ve worked with for years now, and we sat down to discuss leadership, the journey that took each of us to where we are today, and the importance of connection, service, and authenticity when you’re in a place of leadership.
What was it that turned each one of us from drifting in life to becoming passionate leaders in our fields? Click below to find out!
In this video, you’ll hear how I went from an aimless 23-year-old dedicated to never being a yoga instructor, to creating a yoga methodology that’s practiced globally.
You’ll also meet Pino, Karen, Anna, Nick, and Martin… and hear how they each found their place in life through yoga, leadership, and self-discovery.
